1. About TradeChat
Welcome to TradeChat.
TradeChat is a WhatsApp-first, AI-powered service marketplace operated by PLAYMATCH NETWORK LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
TradeChat helps customers discover, communicate with and arrange services from independent service providers through WhatsApp.
Customers and providers do not ordinarily need to download a separate TradeChat application or create a traditional marketplace account.
These Terms govern your use of TradeChat's WhatsApp-based services, website and related marketplace features.
By using TradeChat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the service.
2. What TradeChat Provides
TradeChat uses artificial intelligence and marketplace technology to help:
- Understand customer service requests.
- Identify potentially suitable service providers.
- Help providers describe and promote their services.
- Facilitate service enquiries and introductions.
- Support communication, quotations and bookings.
- Record service progress, feedback and reviews.
- Provide related customer and provider assistance.
TradeChat may support a broad range of lawful services, including property maintenance, repairs, technology services, creative services, professional consulting, tutoring, cleaning and other legitimate service categories.
Availability depends on participating providers, their service areas and their willingness to accept enquiries.
TradeChat does not guarantee that a suitable provider will be available for every request.
3. WhatsApp-Based Operation
TradeChat operates primarily through WhatsApp.
When you message TradeChat, you authorise us to process your message and relevant information to respond to your enquiry and provide the requested marketplace functionality.
You may communicate using supported text messages, voice notes, photographs, documents and other WhatsApp features.
Some features may be unavailable or subject to technical limitations.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your WhatsApp account and complying with WhatsApp's applicable terms.
TradeChat is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeChat independently.
You must provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.
If you represent a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.
We may refuse, restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with the law or maintain platform integrity.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate and relevant descriptions of requested services.
- Communicate respectfully with service providers.
- Review quotations, qualifications, terms and availability before agreeing to work.
- Make their own assessment of a provider's suitability.
- Provide safe and lawful access to premises where applicable.
- Honour agreed payment and booking arrangements.
- Avoid submitting unlawful, misleading or fraudulent enquiries.
Customers remain responsible for deciding whether to appoint a particular service provider.
TradeChat's AI-generated recommendations do not replace appropriate checks or professional advice.
6. Service Provider Responsibilities
Providers participating in TradeChat agree to:
- Supply accurate information about their identity, business and services.
- Represent their experience, qualifications and capabilities truthfully.
- Hold any licences, registrations, insurance or authorisations legally required for their services.
- Provide accurate quotations and communicate relevant conditions.
- Honour accepted commitments or communicate changes promptly.
- Comply with applicable consumer, employment, tax, safety and professional laws.
- Respect customer privacy and protect information received through TradeChat.
- Avoid misleading advertising, fraudulent activity and unlawful services.
Providers are responsible for the quality, safety, legality and delivery of the services they offer.
TradeChat may review or remove inaccurate, inappropriate or unlawful provider information.
Being listed on TradeChat does not, by itself, mean a provider has been independently verified, certified or endorsed.
7. Independent Service Providers
Unless expressly stated otherwise, providers using TradeChat are independent third parties.
They are not employees, agents, representatives or subcontractors of PLAYMATCH NETWORK LTD merely because they participate in TradeChat.
When a customer and provider agree on a service, the underlying service contract is generally formed directly between them.
TradeChat facilitates discovery, communication and marketplace coordination but is not ordinarily a party to that underlying service contract.
Providers are responsible for their own service delivery, warranties, insurance, regulatory compliance and contractual obligations.
Nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility that TradeChat may have under applicable law.
8. AI-Generated Information
TradeChat uses artificial intelligence to understand requests, organise information and generate responses.
AI responses may occasionally contain errors, misunderstandings, outdated information or incomplete recommendations.
Users should confirm important information before relying on it.
In particular, customers and providers should independently verify:
- Prices and quotations.
- Provider qualifications and credentials.
- Availability and appointments.
- Technical recommendations.
- Legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.
TradeChat does not guarantee that AI-generated information will always be accurate or complete.
We may correct inaccurate information and provide human assistance where available.
9. Matching and Introductions
TradeChat may identify providers using information such as service descriptions, locations, provider catalogues and stated availability.
A suggested match does not guarantee that a provider will accept an enquiry or complete the requested service.
TradeChat may ask for permission before forwarding enquiry details or establishing a direct connection.
Users agree not to misuse information received through the matching process.
We may limit introductions where necessary to protect privacy, prevent misuse or maintain marketplace integrity.
10. Quotations and Bookings
Any quotation provided by a service provider is subject to the provider's stated conditions.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, quotations are issued by the relevant provider rather than TradeChat.
Customers should confirm the scope of work, price, timing, materials, cancellation arrangements and any additional charges before accepting a quotation.
A booking is not necessarily confirmed until the relevant parties have agreed the required details.
TradeChat may assist with recording or communicating booking information but does not guarantee provider attendance, performance or availability.
11. Fees and Payments
Customers may submit service enquiries and use TradeChat's core discovery functionality without a TradeChat enquiry fee.
Providers may join and describe their services without an initial registration fee, subject to any separately disclosed arrangements.
TradeChat may introduce marketplace fees, successful-connection fees, booking fees, subscriptions, optional premium services or other commercial arrangements.
Any applicable fee will be disclosed before the relevant charge or paid feature becomes binding.
We will not impose a new fee retroactively without an appropriate contractual basis.
Where payment functionality is offered, payments may be processed by an authorised third-party payment provider under its own terms.
TradeChat does not require users to send payment card numbers, passwords, PINs or banking credentials through ordinary WhatsApp messages.
Unless a TradeChat payment feature is expressly available and confirmed, payment arrangements are made directly between customers and providers.
12. Cancellations, Refunds and Consumer Rights
Cancellation and refund arrangements for an underlying service generally depend on the agreement between the customer and the independent provider, together with applicable consumer law.
Providers must comply with relevant consumer protection requirements, including any applicable cancellation rights, information requirements and statutory remedies.
Where TradeChat charges a separate platform fee, the applicable fee terms, cancellation conditions and any statutory rights will be disclosed before purchase.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
13. Disputes Between Customers and Providers
If a dispute arises concerning service quality, payment, cancellation, damage or performance, the customer and provider should first attempt to resolve the matter directly.
TradeChat may provide communication support, maintain relevant transaction records or assist with an informal resolution process where appropriate.
TradeChat does not automatically guarantee compensation, refunds or completion of services provided by independent third parties.
We may investigate complaints and restrict accounts or listings where credible evidence of misconduct exists.
Users retain their rights to seek assistance from relevant regulators, alternative dispute resolution bodies or courts.
14. Reviews and Feedback
Users may be invited to submit ratings, reviews or feedback following service interactions.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain knowingly false, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful material.
TradeChat may moderate, remove or restrict reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Reviews represent the opinions of their authors and are not guarantees of future service quality.
We do not guarantee that every review or provider claim has been independently verified.
15. Provider Catalogues and Uploaded Content
Providers may submit service descriptions, photographs, portfolios, pricing information and other catalogue materials.
By submitting content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and share it.
You grant PLAYMATCH NETWORK LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, format and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the relevant TradeChat marketplace listing.
You retain ownership of your original content.
You must not upload material that infringes intellectual property rights, breaches confidentiality or violates applicable law.
TradeChat may remove content that is inaccurate, unlawful or inconsistent with these Terms.
16. Privacy and Data Protection
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy:
Customers and providers should share only information reasonably necessary for the relevant service interaction.
Providers receiving customer information may have independent responsibilities under applicable data protection law.
You must not use contact information obtained through TradeChat for unsolicited marketing, harassment or unrelated purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.
17. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Offer or request unlawful services.
- Commit fraud, impersonation or identity theft.
- Misrepresent qualifications, licensing or professional status.
- Harass, threaten, exploit or discriminate against others.
- Send spam or malicious software.
- Attempt to bypass security controls or access other users' information.
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, enquiries or marketplace records.
- Use TradeChat to facilitate prohibited transactions.
- Attempt to exploit or manipulate TradeChat's AI systems or technical infrastructure.
We may restrict access and report suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where necessary.
18. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
TradeChat depends partly on third-party infrastructure, including WhatsApp, Meta, cloud hosting and AI providers.
Interruptions, delayed messages, service restrictions or technical errors may occasionally occur.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or service development.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes.
19. Intellectual Property
TradeChat's brand, website content, software, designs, marketplace technology and other proprietary materials belong to PLAYMATCH NETWORK LTD or their respective licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit protected TradeChat materials without permission, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of TradeChat intellectual property to users.
20. Liability
TradeChat will provide its own services with reasonable care and skill where required by applicable law.
We are not ordinarily responsible for the acts or omissions of independent service providers or customers, except where liability arises from our own conduct or applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee the availability, quality, fitness for purpose or successful completion of third-party services.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights.
21. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using TradeChat at any time.
You may request removal of your provider profile or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breaches, fraud, safety concerns, legal requirements or misuse of the platform.
Termination does not automatically cancel an existing contract between a customer and an independent service provider.
Certain provisions, including those concerning outstanding obligations, intellectual property and dispute resolution, may continue where appropriate.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as TradeChat develops.
The current version will be available at:
Where changes materially affect existing users, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
Changes will not remove rights that users have already acquired under applicable law.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws of their place of residence.
Disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, without preventing consumers from exercising any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another competent jurisdiction.
